CLUBHOUSE RULES

The Clubhouse Rules listed below are put in place to help us ensure that the Porsche Club Cape Clubhouse standards are maintained at a highest level so that Members are assured of a high-quality experience.
If any rules are not agreeable with you, we warmly invite you to please raise your objections and suggestions by emailing clubhouse@porscheclubcape.co.za. The committee will table your feedback at the next committee meeting.
OPERATING HOURS
- An announcement will be via our relevant communication channels informing members that the clubhouse will be open for a specific event.
- The clubhouse is open to members and guests from 9am to 7pm on event days.
- Extension of closing time is at the sole discretion of the relevant committee member on duty.
PARKING
- Strictly, only Porsche Vehicles may be parked on the lawn directly in front of the clubhouse.
- Members who park in front of the clubhouse who may be away from the clubhouse for extended periods of time, must leave their keys at the bar.
- Members arriving in non-Porsche vehicles may park in the designated cordoned off area directly opposite the clubhouse lawns or in the general parking area at Killarney.
- Guests of members are to park in the general public parking areas.
- Members who park in front of the clubhouse must ensure that their vehicle will be readily available to move if the need (fire, emergency services etc) arises.
GUESTS
- Members may invite as many guests as they desire to the clubhouse.
- Members must ensure that the R50 Guest Fee for each guest over the age of 18, is paid at the gate of the clubhouse (see Payment below).
- Guests are provided with a name tag sticker that they must always wear.
- This sticker is provided by security at the gate to the clubhouse.
- The sticker is marked at the bar once the “Guest Fee” has been paid.
SECURITY HEALTH & GOODWILL
- Strictly, only paid-up members and their guests will be granted entry to the Clubhouse.
- Members are to always wear their name badges.
- Guests are to always wear their name badges.
- Members are to always abide by our security service provider instructions.
- Members are expected to conduct themselves amicably with all Porsche Club service providers.
- Members or their guests who display unsavoury or disorderly behaviour will be asked to leave the clubhouse property.
- Members are expected to keep the clubhouse neat and tidy.
- The clubhouse and all paved areas surrounding have been declared NON-SMOKING.
PAYMENTS
- The Clubhouse environment is cashless. No cash will be accepted at the clubhouse bar.
- Service providers (food trucks, regalia etc) are to be paid directly to the service provider using a credit card or other digital payment methods.
- Each member is provided with a QR code that is linked to that member’s account.
- This QR code can be retrieved at the bar.
- Members are expected to save their QR code to their phone for easy retrieval when at the clubhouse bar.
- The member provides his/her guests with the QR code, and they make payment using that code.
- To top up the account, members may use their credit card onsite.
- Guests can also make payment to the account.
- Any funds not used remain on that members clubhouse account for use the next time they are at the clubhouse.
We desire to ensure that ALL members can enjoy the Clubhouse as we slowly but surely ensure we keep up with modern practices.
